Our Corporate Counsel Information Law Roundtable Discussions are invitation-only and take place in small-group settings. These regional and national events offer experienced professionals the opportunity to benchmark and share ideas on how to best address the challenges of handling electronic information. This format encourages candid collaboration and the transfer of knowledge on discovery and allows clients to benchmark records and information management best practices. Discussion topics have included:
  • Handling information from key messaging environments (including email, text, voice mail, instant messaging, and unified messaging)
  • Policy and practice challenges of Internet and Web 2.0 environments (including wikis, blogs, collaborative environments, and social networking)
  • Managing discovery matters across the enterprise (including interactions with internal IT, outsourced IT, and internal and external eDiscovery service providers)
  • Tracking and assessing costs and risks related to making and defending discovery decisions
  • Looking forward: What can be done to affect the developing state and federal laws governing discovery?
