Andrew J. Cosgrove
Andrew Cosgrove has significant experience addressing electronic discovery and complex litigation issues, the development and implementation of records and information management policies and protocols and international and domestic privacy and data protection issues. Andrew regularly assists clients with the development and implementation of plans for the identification, preservation, collection, production and use of electronically stored information in complex litigation matters, including data mapping, 30(b)(6) depositions, Rule 26(f) and Rule 16 conferences, motion practice, and vendor management issues.
Previously, Andrew was a member of Nixon Peabody’s Commercial Litigation practice group, focusing on Information Law matters. Prior to joining Nixon Peabody, Andrew was counsel at Redgrave Daley Ragan & Wagner, LLP, and was an Associate at Dorsey & Whitney LLP.
Andrew is a recognized Certified Information Privacy Professional ("CIPP") of the International Association of Privacy Professionals ("IAPP"), a member of the E-discovery Committee of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution (“CPR”) and a member of The Sedona Conference Working Group Addressing Best Practices for Electronic Document Retention and Production and The Sedona Conference International Working Group Addressing Best Practices for Electronic Document Retention and Production.
Andrew holds a J.D. (University of Minnesota Law School) and B.C.E. (University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, Institute of Technology). Andrew is admitted to practice in Minnesota.
