Robert Keeling Participates in PLI Program “Government Investigations 2025”

On July 16, Robert Keeling will participate in the half-day PLI program “Government Investigations 2025.”  In addition to serving as co-chair of the program, along with Ava Guo (AT&T), Robert will lead the session “AI and Government Investigations.”

This year’s program will address emerging risks, best practices for internal investigations, the latest in forensic strategies, and effective approaches to responding to subpoenas, civil investigative demands, and enforcement actions.  Whether managing corporate compliance or defending a client, attendees will gain actionable insights to protect the organization, mitigate risk, and respond with confidence.

Program faculty, which includes experienced former regulators and attorneys, will address various aspects of government investigations and parallel internal investigations with a focus on requests for and production of electronic information.

Robert's session "AI and Government Investigations" will cover the use of AI to assist in responding to government investigations.  The session will also cover how companies are using AI to create new data sources that may be implicated by government investigations.  After completing this session, participants will be able to:

  • Understand how AI tools are being used to streamline case assessments in government investigations.
  • Evaluate the benefits and limitations of AI-assisted legal technologies in high-stakes regulatory matters.
  • Identify best practices for implementing AI tools while maintaining privilege, accuracy, and defensibility.
  • Recognize ethical and compliance considerations when deploying AI in the investigative context.
  • Learn how in-house and outside counsel are leveraging AI to improve efficiency and strategic decision-making.
