Michael has extensive experience in eDiscovery and information law and has represented clients in internal investigations, regulatory inquiries, and litigation.  He regularly advises clients on coordinating eDiscovery strategy as national eDiscovery counsel and is adept in managing large-scale document reviews from collection through production and privilege logging.  Michael is skilled at efficiently and effectively addressing a wide range of discovery and information governance issues for clients and focuses on establishing best practices and standards to ensure quality control.

Some of Michael’s recent work experience includes:

  • Drafting litigation memoranda, discovery responses, ESI protocols, pleadings, and motions
  • Developing creative solutions to mitigate eDiscovery burdens, including the use of TAR and other advanced analytics
  • Coordinating corporate eDiscovery strategy as national eDiscovery counsel
  • Identifying and solving fundamental privilege issues

Prior to joining Redgrave LLP, Michael was an attorney at an Am Law 100 firm in Washington, D.C.


Michael has done pro bono work for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Washington D.C. and The Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights.


Michael received his J.D. from Washington University School of Law, a B.A. in American History from Columbia University, and a B.A., magna cum laude, in Talmud and Rabbinics from the Jewish Theological Seminary.  He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and New York.
