Nicole A. Poltash



Nicole Poltash has a strong and diverse litigation background, with a focus on representing individuals and corporations in connection with criminal and government investigations, including white collar and qui tam claims. Additionally, she has experience with commercial litigation, including the construction and restaurant industries. In each of these domains, she has had responsibility for the related discovery, strategy development, and motion practice. Her work has involved numerous eDiscovery issues.

Some of Nicole’s recent work experience includes:

  • Conducting client interviews
  • Preparing and responding to discovery motions practice across a wide range of issues
  • Taking depositions
  • Preparing fact and expert witnesses for deposition and trial
  • Managing all aspects of and serving as first chair at a trial on a breach of contract claim; won on a motion to strike the evidence

Prior to joining Redgrave LLP, Nicole was an associate with Gentry Locke Attorneys in Roanoke, VA and a judicial intern to the Honorable W. Allan Sharrett, Chief Judge, Virginia Circuit Court, Sixth Judicial Circuit of Virginia.


Nicole is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the Virginia State Bar, and the American Bar Association.


Nicole received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Richmond School of Law. She holds a B. S. in Commerce and a B. A. in German Language and Literature from the University of Virginia where she was a Lawn Resident and Echols Scholar. Nicole is fluent in German. She is admitted to practice in California, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
