Tamara Karel, Counsel in Redgrave's Cleveland office, will be participating in three panel discussions during the Sixth Annual Innovation in eDiscovery Conference on April 11, 2019 in San Francisco.  Tamara will be providing case law updates on several relevant issues, including shifting the costs of discovery, privilege, communication, the cloud, and privacy.  She will discuss issues related to cybersecurity and what it means for firms and the companies that hire them, including insight on the impact of GDPR and the U.S. companies that have data stored in the cloud from the European Union.  Tamara will also address the difficulties of dealing with mergers when the legacy companies used disparate systems prior to merger and she will touch on how to defensibly migrate to new systems.  The Innovations in eDiscovery Conference is organized by Sandpaper Partners and sponsored by United Lex.
