Hema has a decade of experience in eDiscovery and document review across complex commercial litigation, including internal corporate investigations, SEC and DOJ investigations, and subpoena responses.

At Redgrave, Hema supervises document review workflows, conducts quality control, and prepares privilege logs across complex litigation and investigation matters.  She trains review attorneys on project protocols and issue-spotting across highly technical subject matters, prepares deposition materials, and conducts technology-assisted review in RelativityOne and Nuix, including model training, validation, and priority-based review workflows.  Hema is certified in RelativityOne Review Pro, aiR for Privilege Pro, and Generative AI Pro.

Prior to joining Redgrave, Hema was a Discovery Attorney at K&L Gates LLP as well as Perkins Coie LLP.  Hema also served as a pro bono attorney at the Federal Tax Clinic at the University of Washington School of Law.

Hema’s work experience includes:

  • Performing second-level review and final quality control on patent and trademark infringement, antitrust, labor and employment, and subpoena response matters
  • Providing strategic review support and issue-spotting for technology clients in complex investigations and litigation
  • Finalizing privilege decisions and preparing privilege logs through targeted quality checks, including responsiveness, confidentiality, and privilege review across complex commercial litigation and government enforcement matters
  • Assisting with deposition preparation and identifying notable documents across complex litigation matters
  • Conducting early case assessment across complex class action matters and supporting litigation teams in scoping discovery
  • Representing clients before the IRS and the United States Tax Court in pro bono tax matters
