J. Andrew (“Andy”) has extensive experience in civil litigation, with a background in managing legal teams and overseeing complex litigation matters.  He leverages technology to enhance legal processes and client service, while helping organizations navigate a wide range of discovery issues.

At Redgrave, Andy advises clients on eDiscovery and litigation strategy, including data identification, litigation holds, collection, and defensible review and production processes.  He designs tailored workflows to address privilege identification, redactions, and other complex review issues, with an emphasis on defensibility, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.  Andy’s experience spans matters involving complex litigation such as class actions, multidistrict litigation, and government investigations addressing various claims, including antitrust, intellectual property, breach of contract, and employment law issues.

Before joining the Firm, Andy served as Vice President of Document Review and Director of Global Litigation Services at UnitedLex, where he oversaw large-scale review and litigation support operations.  He previously practiced at LeClairRyan, LLC, Wright Robinson Osthimer & Tatum, and Spotts Fain PC.

Andy’s work experience includes:

  • Delivering strategic oversight and leadership for a Fortune 50 life sciences client, managing all facets of document collection, review, and production in high-stakes litigation and regulatory matters
  • Leading the design and implementation of enterprise-level review and analytics frameworks for Fortune 100 companies, driving operational consistencies, technology optimization, and cost containment across life sciences and manufacturing portfolios
  • Managing end-to-end document collection, review, and production for a complex multinational patent litigation involving a biosimilar oncology drug on behalf of a global pharmaceutical client
  • Directing comprehensive document collection, review, and production in high-stakes, multijurisdictional litigation involving a flagship consumer healthcare product for a global pharmaceutical and consumer product company
  • Coordinating document collection, review, and production, along with fact sheet preparation, in a multijurisdictional litigation involving a fluoroquinolone antibiotic for a global pharmaceutical, medical device, and consumer healthcare company
