On August 26, 2021, Eliza T. Davis, Amenze S. Airhiavbere, and Anders D. van Marter will lead The AEDI Classroom - eDiscovery 101 Session, “Introduction to Meet & Confers, ESI Protocols, and Responding to and Requesting Discovery.”

The modern digital world presents many challenges concerning the collection, review, and production of evidence. Increasingly, discovery is focused on electronically stored information (ESI), and the growth of these forms of data is unlikely to slow down. This session will introduce and discuss some of the fundamentals of eDiscovery, including meet & confers, ESI Protocols, and strategies for responding to and requesting discovery.  In addition, the discussion will include:

  • Defining and discussing the relevant Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Highlighting important practice pointers for the efficient management of discovery
  • Examining the steps needed to develop an effective discovery strategy

This session is the first in a series of four free eDiscovery 101 webinars presented by the Georgetown Law Advanced eDiscovery Institute.  By attending, participants will learn, network, and receive a special discount code for $100 off registration for the Georgetown Law Advanced eDiscovery Institute, being held on November 18-19, 2021.
