Benjamin M. Redgrave

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:

Ben is a skilled attorney with a background in complex civil litigation and corporate transactions.  He has significant experience assisting with litigation and trial preparation, particularly the drafting of legal briefs and motions.  In addition, Ben has argued multiple motions on behalf of his clients, including assisting with oral argument before the Indiana Supreme Court.  He is a talented writer and was the recipient of the 2018 William T. Kirby Award for Excellence in Legal Writing on behalf of the University of Notre Dame Law School.

Some of Ben’s recent work experience includes:

  • Drafting appellate briefing at both state court of appeals and state supreme court levels
  • Managing large scale document production and review
  • Performing privilege review and drafting privilege logs
  • Preparing substantive motions in various litigation throughout all stages of the litigation process from discovery through trial
  • Preparing discovery protective orders
  • Assisting with depositions
  • Managing exhibits and litigation support for jury trial

Prior to joining Redgrave LLP, Ben worked as an attorney at Sopko, Nussbaum, Inabnit & Kaczmarek.  He also served as an extern to the Honorable Craig B. Shaffer of the United States District Court, District of Colorado.

EDUCATION:

Ben received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School and his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.  During law school, Ben served as an Articles Editor of the Notre Dame Law Review.  He is admitted to practice in Indiana.  Ben’s Illinois application to practice is pending, and until approved, he is supervised by Illinois Firm Principals.
