INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:

Britney is a skilled litigation attorney with extensive experience representing and advising clients in connection with civil litigation (including class actions) and government investigations.  These matters have involved various legal claims, including breach of contract, product liability, and securities fraud.  She effectively manages all aspects of discovery, including document collection and review, drafting discovery requests and responses, preparing witnesses for depositions, and taking and defending depositions.  Britney approaches all of her matters with a strategic and analytical focus, implementing processes and working collaboratively to produce the most efficient and goal-oriented solutions.

Some of Britney’s recent work experience includes:

  • Drafting dispositive motions and other pleadings, including motions for summary judgment, motions to dismiss, and discovery motions
  • Working closely with testifying and consulting experts to prepare expert reports
  • Serving as trial counsel and preparing witnesses to testify at trial

Britney also has significant pro bono experience, and she has been repeatedly named to the Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll by the District of Columbia Courts (High Honors 2019, Honors 2018).  This honor recognizes attorneys who have contributed fifty hours or more pro bono work to those who cannot afford legal counsel.

Prior to joining Redgrave LLP, Britney worked as an associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and was a law clerk at the United States Small Business Administration. 

EDUCATION:

Britney received her J.D., with honors, from The George Washington University Law School and her B.S., cum laude, from Georgetown University, Walsh School of Foreign Service.  During law school, she served as a Notes Editor for The George Washington Law Review.  She is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
