France has significant experience managing all aspects of complex consumer class actions in state and federal courts. She has advised clients regarding eDiscovery issues, including custodian interviews, container profiles, and preservation and collection plans to comply with discovery obligations. France enjoys researching complicated legal issues and providing guidance to clients and briefs to courts. France also enjoys supporting and mentoring junior team members.

Some of France’s work experience includes:

  • Drafting and conducting discovery
  • Preparing witnesses for depositions
  • Researching and drafting memoranda, meet and confer letters, and briefs addressing eDiscovery issues
  • Drafting briefs regarding privilege law and challenges to privilege claims
  • Serving as a key team member in In re McDermott International, Inc. (Bankr. S.D.Tex.), where Redgrave LLP acted as Discovery counsel for debtor, energy industry provider of engineering, construction, and installation services, restructuring $9.2 billion in prepetition debt

Prior to re-joining Redgrave LLP in 2018, France served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Maria-Elena James (Ret.), Northern District of California, analyzing legal briefs and performing legal research in civil and criminal matters.


France has guest lectured in eDiscovery Law at U.C. Hastings College of Law.  She is a Certified Brainspace Analyst.


France received her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and her B.A., cum laude, from Cornell University.  She is admitted to practice in California.  France also spent a semester abroad in Belgium, performing independent research her honor’s thesis. She is fluent in French.
