Jamila A. Hemmerich

Jamila is a skilled attorney with significant experience assisting with eDiscovery and information governance matters.  She routinely advises clients on project management, workflows, and defensible strategies to mitigate discovery risks and costs.  Jamila also uses her knowledge concerning technology-assisted review (“TAR”) and other innovative review methods to develop efficient and effective solutions for clients. 

Some of Jamila’s recent work experience includes:

  • Managing large-scale contract review projects, including training and supervising a global team of over 100 reviewers
  • Creating and implementing review team training materials, documentation, and quality control measures
  • Assisting with the negotiation of electronically stored information (“ESI”) protocol agreements
  • Assisting in research and drafting of motions and briefs regarding discovery disputes
  • Developing solutions to a wide range of document review issues, including deficient productions, incompatible load files, and image formats
  • Designing and managing cyber breach privacy reviews
  • Advising on best practices for records retention and management

Prior to joining Redgrave LLP, Jamila worked as an attorney at an Am Law 100 firm and a project manager at various discovery solutions companies.


Jamila received her J.D. from The University of Akron School of Law and her B.A. from Ohio State University Columbus. She is admitted to practice in Illinois.
