INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:

Josh is a talented litigator who focuses his practice at the evolving intersection of law and technology. He advises clients on a multitude of substantive legal issues and procedural issues, often concerning high-stakes litigation matters.  Josh has extensive eDiscovery experience and utilizes his full knowledge of the discovery process, from identification and production through trial use, to assist clients in planning for and managing the associated risks and costs.  His experience spans a broad range of standard and complex litigation matters, including contract and commercial disputes, employment discrimination claims, intellectual property claims, restrictive covenants, consumer fraud, unfair competition, and government/regulatory investigations.  He is also skilled at developing efficient corporate eDiscovery and information governance policies and effectively launching new programs to improve compliance, efficiency, cost control, and risk management.

Some of Josh’s recent work experience includes:

  • Investigating client technology and developing strategies for eDiscovery data collections, Court conferences, motions, stipulations, agreements, and other proceedings
  • Consulting on tactics for discovery requests and subpoenas, responses, document review, and productions, including use of search terms, analytics, early case assessment, and predictive coding
  • Assembling and guiding document reviews, creating appropriate protocols and documentation, and navigating complex issues regarding confidentiality and privilege
  • Overseeing training, seminars, and education for employees and staff on legal, ethical, compliance, and technological issues 
  • Developing and managing litigation hold process, including investigation and scoping; preparation and tracking of notices and responses; interviews of custodians; coordination of document/data collections with custodians, administrative departments, and forensic vendors; and creation of search, review, and production strategies
  • Serving as trial counsel and managing litigation preparation, including drafting pleadings and motions, handling depositions and discovery, and interviewing and preparing witnesses

Prior to joining Redgrave LLP, Josh was Chair of the eDiscovery Practice Group at Fox Rothschild LLP.  He also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas A. Wallitsch, Lehigh County Court of Common Pleas.

ORGANIZATIONAL INVOLVEMENT & MEMBERSHIPS:

Josh is a member of The Sedona Conference®, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Montgomery County Bar Association. 

EDUCATION:

Josh received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and his B.A. from Villanova University.  He is currently admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia.
