Michael Kearney Named to The Sedona Conference Working Group 13 Steering Committee

Michael Kearney has been appointed to the Steering Committee of The Sedona Conference Working Group 13 (WG13) on Artificial Intelligence and the Law.

Michael has contributed to WG13 in a range of capacities, including as a co-lead of its AI Governance Drafting Team and as a speaker at WG13 meetings. In welcoming him to the Steering Committee, The Sedona Conference recognized the insight, experience, and energy he brings to the Working Group’s continued advancement.  His two-and-a-half-year term on the WG13 Steering Committee runs through December 31, 2028.

The Sedona Conference Working Group Series represents the evolution of The Sedona Conference from a forum for advanced dialogue to an established, open think tank confronting some of the most challenging issues facing the legal system today.  Its working groups pursue in-depth study of tipping point issues across antitrust law, complex litigation, intellectual property rights, and data security and privacy law, with the goal of producing high-quality, nonpartisan commentary.  WG13 focuses specifically on Artificial Intelligence and the Law.
