Michael Kearney Speaks on AI Governance at The Sedona Conference Working Group 13 on Artificial Intelligence and the Law: Inaugural Meeting 2025

On January 15, 2025, Michael Kearney will participate in the “AI Governance” panel discussion at The Sedona Conference Working Group 13 on Artificial Intelligence and the Law (WG13): Inaugural Meeting 2025 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Michael will join David Moncure (Crowe), Staci J. Olsen (Baron & Budd PC), and Patrick E. Zeller (Aristocrat) to discuss the introduction of artificial intelligence and generative AI into enterprises.  They will explore key questions surrounding the collection, retention, stewardship, access, and disposal of information within enterprises.  They will also discuss how Information Governance policies and procedures must evolve to incorporate AI effectively.

The Sedona Conference recently established WG13 to coordinate AI-related initiatives across existing Working Groups and act as an incubator for developing analyses, principles, and best practices to address AI’s impact in various legal contexts.
