Robert Keeling and Martin Tully Speak at the 2025 Georgetown Law Advanced eDiscovery Institute
Robert Keeling and Martin Tully will speak at the 2025 Georgetown Law Advanced eDiscovery Institute (AEDI), to be held November 20-21, 2025. This year’s program will tackle complex issues surrounding eDiscovery, Big Data, and privacy from a diverse group of speakers, including state and federal judges, law firm practitioners from around the world, eDiscovery providers, and subject matter experts on AI.
On November 20, Martin Tully will participate in the panel “AI Protocols: To draft or not to draft? Let the debate begin!” This session will explore the advantages and disadvantages of establishing a protocol for using GenAI in document review and production, focusing on its legal necessity, impact on GenAI use, cost implications, and potential for side litigation.
On November 21, Robert Keeling will join the panel “eDiscovery & AI: Potpourri.” This session will give expert perspectives and predictions on a mix of AI issues impacting eDiscovery, including: the impact of AI on privilege, whether AI-generated content is a business record and who is the custodian, and how the shift to Agentic AI impacts discovery and liability issues.
