Robert Keeling and Ray Mangum Discuss Relativity aiR for Review Accuracy Study at RelFest Chicago

On September 30, Robert Keeling and Ray Mangum join the panel “Trust in the Results: What a Relativity aiR Accuracy Study Reveals About Validation, Defensibility, and the Future of Review” at RelFest Chicago.

As legal teams look to generative AI to accelerate review, one question continues to shape adoption: can the results be trusted and defended?  In this session, Robert and Ray share findings from Redgrave’s empirical study, “Generative AI for Complex Document Review: A Comparative Evaluation Benchmarked Against Active Learning and an Independent Expert Reviewer,” including how the study was structured, how outputs were validated, and what the results suggest about consistency, quality, and practical use in real-world matters.

The discussion will explore not only the performance of aiR for Review, but also what the validation framework means for defensibility, transparency, and industry confidence in using AI review workflows.  Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how rigorous testing can support adoption, inform best practices, and help the industry move toward a more credible and repeatable standard for AI in document review.
