Robert Keeling Speaks at the National eDiscovery Leadership Institute (NeLI)

On September 12, Robert Keeling will join the panel “The Evolution of Artificial Intelligence and Discovery: How the roles of technology and humans are changing,” at the National eDiscovery Leadership Institute (NeLI) in Kansas City, MO.  NeLI provides high-quality educational opportunities to judges and legal professionals, with a specific focus on electronically stored information (ESI), and encourages cooperation between and among the bench and the bar.

Robert’s panel will explore the evolution of trust and acceptance for AI technologies, from early TAR approaches to today's modern CAL and GenAI applications.  By examining lessons learned, the panelists will assess present-day use cases in document review and privilege analysis, and look to the future with groundbreaking capabilities, such as AI-enhanced, early-case assessment and real-time evidence retrieval.  The discussion will also address some hot-button issues practitioners face with the use of GenAI, such as validation and the discoverability of prompts.
