IT departments are increasingly adopting Office 365 for its capabilities and efficiencies in a number of applications, but moving to O365 has legal-related implications about which the legal department — which is often involved late in the process, if at all — may be unaware. This webinar will discuss these issues, for example: the eDiscovery features that may — or may not — be available at different subscription levels; the application of retention policies to the multiple new applications and data sources within O365; the risk of data loss and defensibility against spoliation sanctions when migrating to the O365 platform; new sources of data in the O365 applications requiring preservation and collection; and various configuration and tenancy options that can affect issues such as possession, custody, and control.
