On May 5, 2023, Gareth Evans will speak on the panel “Standing at the Edge of Privilege” at the American Bar Association’s 17th Annual National Institute on E-Discovery. The panel will explore complex issues surrounding privilege designations in civil litigation, including questions before the Supreme Court this term, privileges falling within the scope of clawback agreements made pursuant to Federal Rule of Evidence 502(d) and (e), and the defensibility of redacting or withholding documents without citing any recognized privilege.
