INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:

Vikram (“Vik”) is a leader in developing and managing services teams to support complex and varied information law engagements. He leverages his deep experience in understanding and managing the intersection of legal and technical issues in global and high-stakes document review matters to provide clients with practical and strategic advice, guidance, and leadership.    

With an extensive background in leading and directing managed review and litigation and investigation services, Vik oversees complex workflows, client relationships, and staff leadership.  He has managed large and diverse teams in delivering managed review, analytics-driven investigations, data mining reviews for breach notification, and early case assessments to a Fortune 100 client base. Vik has been instrumental in establishing concentrated strategic consulting and project management services to deliver contracts and obligation management, including developing and deploying AI-driven workflows and solutions through Relativity, Reveal, and other platforms.  His solutions-driven approach allows for the continual evaluation of client-tailored best practices surrounding managed review services and the implementation of rigorous metrics to measure quality, productivity, and other key performance indicators.  Vik is passionate about developing services that meet and exceed client satisfaction standards through innovative strategies that are efficient, cost-effective, and mitigate risk.  

At Redgrave LLP, Vik oversees the Firm’s strategy across all areas of its approach to document review, including legal, risk, compliance, client development, and technology, to provide clients with a best-in-class document review ecosystem.  He works alongside clients and key stakeholders to understand their business and legal needs to identify, coordinate, and execute document review processes that produce desired and effective outcomes.  Vik also collaborates with Redgrave LLP team members to counsel corporate representatives regarding discovery and records management issues, prepare and execute affirmative discovery strategies, conduct internal investigations to assess and test preservation and discovery compliance issues, identify and prepare expert witnesses to testify regarding preservation and discovery compliance issues, and serve as expert witnesses in connection with preservation and discovery compliance issues.  Vik works seamlessly with other matter ecosystem partners (merits counsel and vendors (technology and review)) to enable an effective and efficient team approach to engagements. 

Prior to joining Redgrave LLP, Vik spent over a decade in various roles at UnitedLex, including, most recently, Senior VP of Global Managed Review.  His previous roles at UnitedLex included Vice President—Strategic Accounts, Global, Global Director—Litigation Consulting, and Director—Litigation Support Services.  Earlier in his career, Vik held consulting and attorney roles at companies, including Deloitte and Morgan Stanley. 

ORGANIZATIONAL INVOLVEMENT, MEMBERSHIPS & CERTIFICATIONS:

Vik is involved in numerous eDiscovery and information law organizations, including the Electronic Discovery Reference Model’s (“EDRM”) Advisory Council, The Sedona Conference Working Group on Electronic Document Retention and Production (WG1), and The Sedona Conference Working Group on Data Security and Privacy Liability (WG11).  He has participated in several Sedona Conference brainstorming groups and drafting teams to advance thought leadership.  Vik has also served as a guest lecturer in eDiscovery at Catholic University Law School and as a panelist and subject matter expert in numerous educational forums and industry conferences.  Vik is a Certified E-Discovery Specialist. 

EDUCATION:

Vik received his LLM from Temple University, his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, and his B.S. in Accounting from St. Peter’s College.  Vik is admitted to practice in New Jersey, and his admission to the District of Columbia Bar is pending.
