Monica McCarroll Joins EDI Summer Meeting Panel “GenAI Document Review: Best Practices & Legal Requirements”

On June 4, 2025, Monica McCarroll will speak on the “GenAI Document Review: Best Practices & Legal Requirements” panel at the 2025 EDI Summer Meeting.

Monica and her fellow panelists will discuss how, like TAR before it, generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) review has the potential to transform the document review stage of eDiscovery.  This panel will discuss best practices for GenAI review based on the evaluation of actual matters in which GenAI was used for review over the last year.  Panelists will also explore the evolving legal arguments regarding the permissibility of GenAI review under Rule 26(g), and broader legal industry efforts to develop standards to govern GenAI review.
