Redgrave LLP Welcomes Britney A. Colton as Chief Operating Officer
CHICAGO, IL (February 23, 2026) — Redgrave LLP is pleased to announce that Britney A. Colton, J.D., MBA, has joined the Firm as its new Chief Operating Officer.
Britney brings more than twenty years of experience leading legal and business operations, drawing on her combined background in law and business to advance organizational strategy, support firm growth, and strengthen administrative functions.
In her role at Redgrave, Britney oversees Practice Management, Human Resources, Marketing and Business Development, AI and Innovation, Knowledge Management, and other functions essential to the Firm’s day-to-day operations and long-term strategic objectives. She works closely with Firm leadership, including the Executive Committee, to develop and execute strategic plans, enhance operational infrastructure, support attorney and advisor productivity and professional development, and further the Firm’s commitment to delivering exceptional client service. Britney is also committed to advancing client value by aligning people, processes, and technology, including the thoughtful adoption of emerging tools such as GenAI, to improve efficiency, collaboration, and service delivery.

Prior to joining Redgrave, Britney served as Chief Administrative Officer at Stoel Rives LLP, where she led practice management, operations, and human resources functions, including responsibility for talent programs, operational restructuring, enterprise system implementations, and organization-wide engagement initiatives. She has also held senior leadership and legal roles at TriMet, Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, and the University of Oregon School of Law, and previously clerked for Chief Judge Ancer L. Haggerty of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon.
