Staci Kaliner, Managing Director, Redgrave: Preemptive information governance: There will be a fundamental shift to information governance before AI deployment, not after.  Forward-thinking legal teams will implement “AI access policies,“ defining which SharePoint sites, Teams channels, and OneDrive folders Microsoft Copilot can access, because post-deployment governance is a real challenge.  The lesson from early adopters is that AI can read everything and will synthesize everything, creating discoverable content, including combined privileged communications and business records.  The question isn't what AI can access technically, it's what you will have to produce when opposing counsel discovers your AI accessed privileged materials.
