On June 13-14, 2023, David Shonka will speak on two panels at the 14th Annual Sedona Conference International Programme on Cross-Border Data Transfers and Data Protection Laws. His first session, “Insights from Former DPAs,” will highlight the perspectives of former Data Protection Authorities (DPAs) on what they see as the most important trends in the data protection field. His second panel, “Data Security and Breach Regulation and Litigation, Including Responding to Regulators Across Jurisdictions in an Ever-Expanding Breach Notification Environment,” will explore best practices associated with data breach response as related to notification requirements and preparing for potential litigation.
