Vikram "Vik" Masson is Redgrave's newest partner, joining the firm from UnitedLex, where he was a senior vice president, according to his LinkedIn profile. Masson will lead and develop Redgrave's review offering, Redgrave Review and Analytics, according to a statement from firm managing partner and co-founder Vickie Redgrave.
 
"Vik's extensive understanding of the managed review space, including his ability to engage rigorous metrics to measure quality and productivity, and his deep understanding of analytics, data science, and emerging GenAI applications, positions him on the cutting edge of developing strategies and solutions for clients that go beyond best practices and that truly innovate document review processes," Redgrave said in a statement.

She added: "We are thrilled to have him lead and develop the firm's review offering, Redgrave Review and Analytics, and we are excited for our clients to benefit from our unique and tailored services."

Masson's practice includes data mining reviews for breach notifications, early case assessments and analytics-driven investigations into discovery data and other documents, the firm said. Masson also helps counsel clients on document review issues, the firm said. He's helped develop and implement AI-driven workflows and solutions through a range of platforms, according to Masson's firm profile.

Some of Masson's other work includes advising corporate clients on discovery and record management issues, affirmative discovery strategies and discovery compliance, and Masson additionally helps conduct internal review of that compliance, the firm said.

Masson's practice includes helping identify and prepare expert witnesses, and he at times serves himself as a witness on discovery compliance issues.

In an email to Law360 Pulse on Friday, Masson said that after spending over a decade with UnitedLex it was "time to take on a new challenge."

Masson earned his law degree from Brooklyn Law School and his master of laws degree from Temple University's Beasley School of Law. According to his firm profile, before his career at UnitedLex, Masson worked at Morgan Stanley and Deloitte in various consulting and attorney roles. He lists having worked as a discovery manager at Deloitte for about four years on his LinkedIn profile.

Masson first joined UnitedLex in 2011 as director of the group's litigation support services, according to his LinkedIn profile. He worked for the group for over 12 years, including as UnitedLex's global director of litigation consulting, and vice president of strategic accounts.
